I am a designer, maker, and world traveller who is also certified as a project manager. Born and raised in Canada, I have lived and travelled around the world. Some of my stops include: graduate school in England (University of Oxford), working in Beijing for the 2008 Olympic Games, running the Olympic torch near the Arctic Circle in 2010, traveling from London to Mongolia by train (including the Trans-Mongolian Express) and now living in Southern California.
I love all things international and those experiences have shaped my design philosophy and perspective! I love to combine unique pieces that tell the rich story of who you are and where you've been. This can mean wall-mounted masks from a Caribbean trip, woven blankets from the American Southwest, hand-stitched pillowcases purchased in the Cairo Souk, or custom vintage maps that show where you met your spouse.
A former student of UCLA's Architecture and Interior Design program and the Interior Design Institute in Newport Beach, California, I am also ReGreen certified, a program developed by the US Green Building Council and ASID, to provide healthy and high-performing interior design solutions.
