Style: Modern Farmhouse

This was a month-long project, to help a family with two young kids settle into their newly purchased house.

 

With a love of rustic furniture and family heirlooms, I immediately connected with their desire to keep as many family pieces in the house, while updating and coordinating the overall decor with a unified color palette and common materials in each room (wood, wire/ metal, and natural materials like burlap and jute). The result was a warm, welcoming home and a very happy client, whose husband walked in, saw the work, gave me a big hug and just said: "thank YOU!"... So gratifying!
